OnsetX3 HS Description

Capable of printing in excess of 15,500 ft²/hour (283 beds/hour), the OnsetX3 HS features three (3) CMYK ink channels plus the choice of white or orange. The OnsetX3 HS sits at the pinnacle of productivity. With this printer, users of analog screen printing lines can take the digital route, confident they can print high-quality long runs with superb consistency and reliability.

See how the OnsetX3 HS has helped Artisan exceed customer expectations by printing high-quality, photographic reproductions and improving speed to market.

The Onset X3 uses Fujifilm Dimatix drop-on-demand printheads, which are perfect for the production of high volume, quality images onto a wide variety of media. The printheads jet a 14 picoliter drop size providing a good balance of quality and volume for the display POP and signage market.

To ensure maximum throughput, the Inca OnsetX3 HS is compatible with Inca’s flexible automation systems which offer customers the choice to operate in manual, three quarter or full automation. The optional handling systems for Onset increase the throughput of the press by reducing handling time from 20-45 seconds manually, down to just 6 seconds with automation.

OnsetX3 HS Features

25 Zone ‘No Masking’ Vacuum Bed – Featuring a powerful new vacuum system and choice of table skin design, the need for bed masking is eliminated, whatever the substrate size, and greatly reduces set-up times for the most common POP substrates and increases throughput of short-run, fast-turnaround print. Vacuum zones are independently controlled and the auto zone function allows it to be easily managed by the operator.

Simple User Interface – Touch screen GUI makes it easy to finalize and initiate jobs, save settings, create print queues and manage and optimize every stage of the print process. Improved off-machine job set-up means jobs arrive at the printer with more predefined parameters – substrates, print speed, quality mode, gloss level, etc – already specified.

iNozzle Technology – An onboard scanner locates any under-performing nozzles and automatically assigns a reserve printhead to jet ink to make a perfect image.

Choice of Automation Systems – Increase the throughput of the OnsetX3 HS by reducing manual change out of materials with the optional 3/4 Automation system or fully-automated feed system.

Our customers expect perfection. We chose the Onset X3 for its speed, quality and color gamut. The most defining feature of our Onset X3 is the robotic handling system. From an efficiency standpoint I think it’s the best material-handling exit and feed that I’ve ever experienced. It can handle flexible substrates extremely well.
